We foster Lionel Cooper, the sweetest dog in the world, for a month before he is adopted by a family from Abita Springs. They have cats & other dogs & horses. They have a 13 year old daughter who says “Can he sleep in my room?” Lionel bumps her lips with his wet nose. This is his way of saying “yes.” Not that he’s in charge or anything. During the interview, I see that the dad isn’t convinced. But just one “please daddy,” and he is off to the bank to withdraw the adoption fee. Good luck L.C.
