We made this history-meets-call-to-action to mobilize our city, our country, and our world to put people above profits and to look at the social and environmental ramifications of large-scale water projects in coastal landscapes.
NEWS:
The Locked team has been invited to present at the “Defending our Waters” conference at the end of October. This conference is hosted by the Water Protection Network: “a coalition of national, regional and local organizations working to ensure that America’s water policies and projects are environmentally and economically sound. We work to achieve our vision of water resource planning that utilizes natural and economically sustainable methods and protects and restores our rivers, coasts, and wetlands for people and wildlife.”
