I don’t know if we told y’all or not, but we optioned our Destiny feature script to Termite Productions out in L.A. We have been developing the script for the last six months, and now we are ready to shift into director mode.
Shifting from the writer’s perspective to the director’s perspective is challenging. I’m working on character sketches. Patrick is working on locations. For y’all who think that creative endeavors are all about flowers and unicorns and cocktail parties, let me let you in on a little secret: it’s tedious, painstaking work that sometimes gives me a massive headache. If you have the capacity to do this kind of detail-oriented nonsense, you might have a career in the arts.
