So, this is it. I’ve contacted The Guardian, and they have confirmed that I own copyright on my article published therein (Blood is Thicker than Floodwater). This is where it begins.
Patrick and I have been brainstorming ideas for our next project, and this is it. We will co-write a feature script based on aforementioned article. We will co-direct it.
The first step is finding funding for a research trip. To further this goal, I have:
- Posted a question on Linkedin and emailed selected contacts with said question.
- Emailed JB and R&J T for advice.
- Mentioned to my dad that I will be going to NOLA in the fall.
