Hey Ya’ll,

In case you didn’t make it to the New Orleans Fringe Festival to see my piece “Flashback” in the cabaret show of UnRoute, come along for the encore! A dance of film and emotion, “Flashback” takes you to a place that exists only in memory.

Love,

Daneeta

Skin Horse Theater presents The Importance of Being Earnest at 7 pm

Written by Oscar Wilde and directed by Garrett Prejean.

Jack loves Gwendolyn. Algernon loves Cecily. Cecily and Gwendolyn love Ernest. Ernest doesn’t exist. Amidst a brilliant flurry of mistaken identity, witty banter and cucumber sandwiches, Oscar Wilde masterfully weaves a comic tale of love and manners.

Goat in the Road presents Instant Misunderstanding at 10 pm

Written by Chris Kaminstein, Will Bowling and Sascha Stanton-Craven and directed by Andy Vaught.

An implosive exploration of technological anxieties in a digital age as past and present collide in a whirlwind of sandwiches and computer commands. Two brothers, Johannes and Johannes Gutenberg, struggle to invent the internet and propel themselves into a confusing and uncertain future.

“The writing is beautifully deliberate…” Alison Fensterstock, Times Picayune.

artist inc. presents “UNRAVELED” – select encore performances from the Fringe Fest at 11:30 pm

Fri., Nov. 30: Bremner Duthie’s “The Chaser”
Sat., Dec. 1: Reese Johanson Performance Collective performs excerpts from “UNROUTE”
Fri., Dec. 7: Diana Shortes’ “White Sauce and Diaper Babies”

“With 68 shows to see in the Fringe Festival, we know it’s impossible to see everything,” said Evan Spigelman from Skin Horse Theater. “During ENCORE! audiences will have the opportunity to see 5 shows they shouldn’t miss, and at a ticket price that mirrors the affordability of the Festival.”

“It is really special that artist inc. can be the host to this collaboration – the first of its kind, and not the last! And I get to introduce the theater’s new name – the Art Klub!” remarked Reese Johanson from artist inc.
