Dear Charlotte,
So yesterday I finished the draft. It’s shit, of course, but nothing that six passes won’t cure. I’ve been following the lessons in “The Coffee Break Screenwriter,” not because they are the definitive, but because it’s something to follow. A structure for a person who doesn’t like structure.
We are spending the next few days polishing. On Monday, we begin our search for a partner. A producer. A good match.
Dominique is on board. She worries about fitting in shooting to her work and school. I haven’t told her yet that she’ll have to give all that up if she wants to become famous.
