FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Elektrik Zoo completes new documentary short
New Orleans, LA – October 22, 2009 – The Elektrik Zoo creative partnership announced the completion of their new documentary short in collaboration with Operation Reach, Inc. The short marks Operation Reach, Inc.’s 10 year anniversary as a New Orleans non-profit.
“This is our second collaboration with Operation Reach, Inc., and we were very excited to work with them again.” said Daneeta Jackson, founding partner at The Elektrik Zoo. “Dr. Kyshun Webster and Hamilton Simons-Jones wanted to do something different from your basic promo. They wanted to have a document that celebrated their 10 years of service to the community of New Orleans. That’s why we were all keen to use the documentary format.”
Jackson and her partner, Patrick Jackson, first collaborated with Operation Reach, Inc. during their stint as mentors of NOVAC’s Annual Teen Filmmaking Camp.
