So, we’re finally out and proud about moving to New Orleans. I gave notice at my job today for the end of this term. Everyone was very supportive.
I’m nervous and excited. We’ve started telling friends, and I’ve been thinking about selling all off all of our stuff. We’ve been working hard on the script, and we’ve been watching everything shot in New Orleans for inspiration. Yes, even “The Big Easy,” which, I must admit, made me feel very nostalgic even though it is a film that is seriously dated and silly. But, god, Dennis Quaid is young that it’s quite hard to resist.
It’s all about Katrina at Sundance, especially the documentary “Trouble the Water,” (which looks really awesome), but I guess we just press on. Mia Bays says that independent filmmakers don’t follow trends, they follow the stories. And, that’s what we’re doing.

Fantastic and exciting! Oh by the way my tutor at the AFI directed the Big Easy. When are you off? Take care. Martin

Hey, Dawlin’, I actually do have ideas on the raising 10,000 pounds part of your to-do list.
If your film is going to make St. Bernard significant, we need to talk. I don’t have that, but I know people who do. And I am a seasoned veteran at going to raise money.
I’m dead serious.
