Here is the back of the iconic Hotel Monteleone, family owned since the 1800s. Of course there are ghosts. There are entities all over the city. But here, they roam the halls, and guests will often mistake them for the living. Several former employees so loved their station at the hotel that they continue to work here in the afterlife. Perhaps there is a whole other dimension to the Monteleone that we the living only catch a glimpse of. If you are not from here, you may be a skeptic of this kind of talk. But we who hail from these parts live with the dead as we do with the living. They are here to remind us that there is no ending, and there is no beginning. It’s just one long ever expanding story.
