23 Mar 2015 I met this little lady in the cemetary where my grandmother was laid to rest. She waits for the souls of the recently departed and ushers them straight up to heaven where they are welcomed home with open arms. If the dead knew they would not be judged but instead loved unconditionally, they would not hang around in cemeteries and she could quit this job. Until then, she waits. Drying her wings in the sun. 0
22 Mar 2015 This man sings the blues down on Royal and Toulouse. I pass him sometimes walking home from Canal Street and wonder if he lives around here. Does he recognizes my smell or the way that I move? If you see him yourself, stay. Listen to the song, and give him a buck or 5. Tell him I sent you. 0
21 Mar 2015 This was the day we met Dominique in the window of a bar on Bourbon Street. She became one of our muses and inspired us to produce photographs, stories, and film. Thank you, Dominique the Dancer. Thank you. 0
19 Mar 2015 Do you remember &;Lay Away?&; my mom used to buy all our shit on Lay Away before she got credit. It was so exciting waiting for those lovely new clothes from Learner&;s. Knowing that skrimping and saving would get us those notebooks and pencils faster. No interest on Lay Away. I still love notebooks and pencils. 0
