So, Carmella flew right on up to heaven yesterday. Maybe she thought: “I’m going to check out the other side.” She had been ill and bed ridden, and that was just no good for an active nonagenarian. An Elektrik muse since before Katrina, Carmella acted in several films, was the subject of many photo essays and stories, and she was a prominent character in our CAC exhibition.
